Grasmere - carrington retirement village

Gresmere project: We have expanded office space as part of a growing retirement village, addressing the increasing demand for enhanced facilities to support its residents. This initiative includes the strategic removal of existing structures, we have taken great care our projects including as this as an iconic heritage building, which holds significant historic status in the area. While this decision acknowledges the need for modern office environments that foster community engagement and support services for seniors, it also highlights the delicate balance between progress and preserving local history. By integrating these new spaces, the retirement village plans to enhance operational efficiency, offering administrative support and wellness programs while ensuring a comfortable atmosphere for both staff and residents. This project reflects a commitment to providing a high standard of living for seniors, creating an inclusive environment where they can thrive in their later years.

IGA port Kembla carpark

The IGA Port Kembla car park project involved the careful dismantling of a pre-existing industrial shed that once served as a used car lot. Given its fragile condition and the fact that it was connected to the adjacent building, the demolition was conducted manually to ensure safety and precision. This meticulous approach not only minimized disruption to the surrounding structures but also facilitated a smooth transition toward the development of a modern car park, enhancing accessibility and convenience for shoppers while respecting the integrity of the neighboring property.

Grasmere - heritage style home

This style heritage home project involved a comprehensive demolition process that encompassed the main bathroom, ensuite, and powder room, including the installation of a rubbish chute for efficient waste removal. To protect the property's high quality features during the renovation, several protective measures were implemented. Two layers of floor protection were placed to safeguard the hardwood floors, stairs, and carpeting throughout the home. Additionally, wall protection was installed to preserve the custom-made wallpaper, while handrails on all staircases received special attention to prevent damage. To ensure a clean working environment, HEPA air filtration systems were employed to minimize dust dispersal, and door containment procedures were established to seal in dust during the demolition activities. These steps reflect a commitment to preserving the beauty of the heritage style home while modernizing its essential facilities.

Teachers Bank project - Charles Town Shopping Centre

The Teachers Bank Australia project at Charlestown Square involved a complete internal strip-out, which included the removal of large shop front windows to facilitate extensive renovations. To minimize disruption, the work was conducted after hours, ensuring that normal business operations were unaffected in the shopping centre. Also done after hours to minimise risk to shoppers and staff of the complex. Preventative measures were put in place to protect the floors, walls, and elevators during the renovation process, safeguarding these critical areas from potential damage. These careful preparations highlight a commitment to both quality and efficiency while transforming the space for future use.
